AI Training Workshops

Your university has AI tools.
Do your staff know how to use them safely?

Workshops built around the real work of administration, research office, graduate research, and student engagement and marketing teams, using the tools your university already provides.

Tools rolled out, training left to chance

Licences without habits.
Copilot, ChatGPT Edu or Gemini is available, but most staff haven't been shown how it fits their work. There’s a general AI training module on the Canvas LMS but it’s just a tickbox requirement.

Policy on paper.
Your AI guidelines exist, but staff aren't sure what they mean for an email, a report or a spreadsheet. And it’s sitting in Sharepoint as a PDF.

Sector pressure.
TEQSA's Corporate Plan 2026 to 2030 names generative AI among emerging risks to sector integrity and academic quality, and funders changed their rules in April 2026.

Built by people who know how universities work

Higher education and research is where 25 Hours AI started. We use your university's approved tools, your terminology and your policies, so the examples feel like your work, not a generic demo.

How Teams usually book

Foundations

The Generative AI Introduction on its own.
A good first step for a large or mixed group.

Foundations + Track

The Introduction plus one tool workshop, within four weeks of each other. Includes a 60-minute online follow-up clinic four to six weeks later, and a prompt and task library written for your roles.

Team Activation

A large Introduction (up to 60 people), then two or three tool workshop groups for the people who will use AI most. Includes everything in Foundations + Track, plus a leadership debrief on where staff see opportunities and risks

Tailored

Paid discovery, then a programme built around your workflows. Quoted after discovery.

Pricing

All prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST.

Generative AI Introduction

Other group sizes are priced on the same scale.

Tool Workshops

Minimum 8 and maximum 20 Team members per group. Larger teams run as extra groups.
Example: 10 Team members doing the Introduction and Using Microsoft Copilot at work: A$7,900 + A$12,500 = A$20,400 + GST

Online delivery on Microsoft Teams is included anywhere in Australia. Onsite delivery is included in metropolitan Melbourne.
Elsewhere, we quote travel upfront at cost.

How Booking Works

  1. Book a 20-minute call.
We talk about your team, your tools and the dates that suit.

  2. Get a proposal.
Within one business day: the workshops, group sizes, price and two date options.

  3. Reserve your date.
A reservation fee of 20% of the total (minimum A$1,000) secures your date.
It comes off your final invoice.

  4. We prepare.
A short questionnaire tells us your roles, your tools and the tasks you want to work on.

Universities and public sector organisations: a signed booking form and a purchase order number hold your date while the reservation invoice is processed. Supplier details, insurance certificates and our privacy statement are available on request.

Common Questions

We've already done the free government AI course. Is this still useful?

Yes. The free course explains what AI is. Our workshops show your team how to use it in their own work, with the tools your organisation provides, under your rules.
The free course makes good preparation for our Introduction.

Do our staff need licences for the tool workshops?

For the Copilot and the Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini workshops, yes. We check what your organisation has before your date is confirmed.
The Introduction needs no licence.

Can we mix departments?

Yes. The Introduction works well with mixed groups. Tool workshops work best with people who do similar work or work in the same departments.

Online or onsite?

Either. Online on Microsoft Teams anywhere in Australia, or onsite at your office.

Can our numbers change after we book?

Yes, up to 5 business days before the workshop. The price adjusts, but not below the group minimum.

What if we need to move the date?

You can move it once at no cost, with at least 10 business days' notice, to a date within 90 days.
For On-site outside of Melbourne: we can discuss adjustments that affect travel and accommodations.

Is the reservation fee refundable?

No, but it comes off your final invoice in full, and you can move your date once.

What happens to our information?

We only use what we need to run your workshop. See our privacy policy.
