AI Training Workshops
Less time on paperwork, more time for the work that needs you
Practical workshops for faculty and central professional staff, from executive and committee support to student administration, finance, HR and policy teams.
What's missing in most admin teams
Professional staff are under constant time pressure, so many have started using AI on their own. Without shared skills, it shows.
Student and staff details in the wrong place.
Enquiries and spreadsheets get pasted into personal AI accounts because no one has said where the line is.
Drafts that sound right but aren't.
AI can cite the wrong policy, date or rule with total confidence, and it goes out under your team's name.
Copilot that nobody opens.
The licence is there, but staff still build committee papers and minutes the long way.
Every team doing it differently.
No shared prompts, templates or standards, so quality depends on who wrote it.
What your team walks away with
Faster committee and meeting work.
Agendas, minutes and briefing notes drafted in minutes, then checked and finished by your staff.
Answers from long documents.
Find what a policy or procedure actually says, with the source to check against.
A shared prompt library
for your team's recurring tasks.
Clear rules on personal information.
What can and can't go into AI, matched to your university's policy.
Copilot set up for your work
(in the Copilot workshop), including how to use your SharePoint and Teams content safely.
Tasks we work on in the workshop
Your staff bring real tasks. We work on them together.
Committee papers and minutes from meeting notes or Teams transcripts
Plain-English summaries of policy and procedure changes
Replies to common student or staff enquiries, checked before sending
Turning spreadsheets into briefing notes and charts
Drafting and updating procedures, checklists and forms
Planning events, travel and recurring reports
The rules your team needs to know.
Universities hold a lot of personal information and answer to several sets of rules.
Privacy. Student and staff information is personal information. From 10 December 2026, privacy policies must also explain certain automated decisions that use it.
Records. University records have keeping and disclosure obligations, and AI-drafted documents become records too.
Your AI policy. We translate your university's guidelines into everyday do's and don'ts for your team
*Our workshops explain these in plain English and build safe habits. They are not legal advice and don’t make your organisation compliant on their own. .Foundations + Track
The Generative AI Introduction for your wider team, then Using Microsoft Copilot at work for the people who will use it most. If your university uses Gemini or ChatGPT Edu, we run the Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini workshop instead.
Faculties often book a Team Activation: one Introduction for up to 60 staff across offices, then two or three tool groups for the track workshops.

Common Questions
We've already done the free government AI course. Is this still useful?
Yes. The free course explains what AI is. Our workshops show your team how to use it in their own work, with the tools your organisation provides, under your rules.
The free course makes good preparation for our Introduction.
Do our staff need licences for the tool workshops?
For the Copilot and the Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini workshops, yes. We check what your organisation has before your date is confirmed.
The Introduction needs no licence.
Can we mix departments?
Yes. The Introduction works well with mixed groups. Tool workshops work best with people who do similar work or work in the same departments.
Online or onsite?
Either. Online on Microsoft Teams anywhere in Australia, or onsite at your office.
Can our numbers change after we book?
Yes, up to 5 business days before the workshop. The price adjusts, but not below the group minimum.
What if we need to move the date?
You can move it once at no cost, with at least 10 business days' notice, to a date within 90 days.
For On-site outside of Melbourne: we can discuss adjustments that affect travel and accommodations.
Is the reservation fee refundable?
No, but it comes off your final invoice in full, and you can move your date once.
What happens to our information?
We only use what we need to run your workshop. See our privacy policy.
