AI Training Workshops
AI-written content is everywhere. Will yours still sound like your university?
Practical workshops for marketing, communications, student recruitment, student engagement and social media team
What's missing in most
marketing and engagement teams
Content demands keep growing, and AI makes it easy to produce more.
Without shared skills, more isn't better
Generic copy.
AI drafts drift towards the same bland phrases every other organisation uses.
Facts that slip.
Course details, fees and entry requirements change, and AI won't know which version is current.
Prospect and student data in public tools.
Enquiry lists and survey comments get pasted in without anyone checking.
No shared prompts or style rules,
so every writer gets different results.
What team walks away with
Prompts built on your brand voice
and style guide, so drafts sound like your university from the start.
One idea, many channels.
Turn a story or announcement into web, email, social and event content, then edit and approve.
Safe handling of student and prospect data,
including de-identifying survey comments before analysis.
Faster campaign first drafts,
with your editorial sign-off unchanged. And it can include accessibility habits, such as alt text and plain-language checks, built into the workflow.
Tasks we work on in the workshop
We work on your real campaigns,
pages and content calendar
Campaign concepts and first drafts for upcoming intakes
Refreshing course pages from current handbook entries, with facts checked
Social content calendars and post variations
Enquiry and conversion email templates
Event and orientation communications
Themes from de-identified student survey comments
The rules your team needs to know.
Marketing to students and prospects carries legal and reputational obligations
Accuracy.
Claims about courses, outcomes and fees must be accurate. AI drafts need fact checks against current sources.
Privacy and email.
Student and prospect details are personal information, and marketing emails must meet Spam Act requirements.
Images and rights.
Know when AI-generated images are appropriate, how to label them, and what rights you hold.
*Our workshops explain these in plain English and build safe habits. They are not legal advice and don’t make your organisation compliant on their own. .Foundations + Track

Common Questions
We've already done the free government AI course. Is this still useful?
Yes. The free course explains what AI is. Our workshops show your team how to use it in their own work, with the tools your organisation provides, under your rules.
The free course makes good preparation for our Introduction.
Do our staff need licences for the tool workshops?
For the Copilot and the Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini workshops, yes. We check what your organisation has before your date is confirmed.
The Introduction needs no licence.
Can we mix departments?
Yes. The Introduction works well with mixed groups. Tool workshops work best with people who do similar work or work in the same departments.
Online or onsite?
Either. Online on Microsoft Teams anywhere in Australia, or onsite at your office.
Can our numbers change after we book?
Yes, up to 5 business days before the workshop. The price adjusts, but not below the group minimum.
What if we need to move the date?
You can move it once at no cost, with at least 10 business days' notice, to a date within 90 days.
For On-site outside of Melbourne: we can discuss adjustments that affect travel and accommodations.
Is the reservation fee refundable?
No, but it comes off your final invoice in full, and you can move your date once.
What happens to our information?
We only use what we need to run your workshop. See our privacy policy.
